DR. HUSSEIN KANDIL
Dr. Hussein Kandil is a fellowship-trained urologist specialized in male reproductive urology and sexual medicine, practicing in the heart of the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, serving male patients at Fakih IVF Fertility Center. Over the recent years, Dr. Hussein Kandil has become a known figure in the field of male reproductive and sexual medicine and has been an active contributor and participant to different medical societies and reproductive organizations, actively engaged in research and education covering the scope of male reproductive medicine. His interest lies in the most complex aspect of the fertility domain, that is, the utilization of microsurgery in the surgical management of male infertility as in Micro-dissection Testicular Sperm Extraction, also known as ‘MTESE’ in the management of Non-Obstructive Azoospermia and Microsurgical varicocele surgery, and expresses special interest in male reproductive endocrine disorders, especially those related to exogenous testosterone and anabolic steroids.
Dr. Kandil is actively engaged in raising awareness and social education regarding men’s reproductive and sexual health; dedicating allocated time for research and academic contribution through publishing multiple research-related activities and medical book. He also offers a free copy to his most recent eBook ‘The Male: Pearls of Hope in Male Infertility’, which is a manual that guides males through their journey of male infertility and is available in both English and Arabic versions.
In addition to physical consultations, Dr. Hussein Kandil has an active online presence, having created an online blog called ‘The Male Venue’, through which regular educational posts are being published, creating a channel of communication with patients and seekers for information.
